Sanguine ring
Sanguine ring
Knife edge band with Latin text engravings on both sides:
SANGUINE ET IGNI, which translates to 'with blood and fire'
IGNIS ET CINIS - 'fire and ash'
This ring was inspired by poesy rings, made popular from medieval times. These rings were often exchanged between lovers as a proclamation of love and commitment, or as gifts or symbols of spiritual or religious dedication. The Sanguine ring is an interpretation of the poesy ring as a reminder of self-love, growth, regeneration and inner strength.
Made to order in sterling silver.
