The Ghost Pipe stud earring features a replica of the flower at the front, with the stem hanging on the back clasp.

The Ghost Pipe (Monotropa uniflora) is a herbaceous perennial plant that, unlike regular plants, do not photosynthesise and thrive in dark, damp parts of the forest. As a result, they do not contain chlorophyll and are usually completely white in colour, with some being pale pink. This earring is an homage to the beauty of this special flower.

  • Dimensions of back of earring: 4.3cm L x 0.17cm W
  • Sterling Silver earring and stud post with Rhodium Plated Sterling Silver butterfly
  • Polished or oxidised finish
  • Available as a single earring or pair
  • The butterfly (earring back) is now a Rhodium Plated Sterling Silver which does not oxidise/tarnish. This means less sensitivity to the skin, although if you order the Oxidised option it wont be blackened with the rest of the earring. This won't make a difference aesthetically as the butterfly is mostly hidden.

Ring Sizing

If you already wear rings, simply measure the internal diameter of the ring that fits the finger you want to wear your Lyleu ring on, match it to any of the AUS/UK sizing letters and select the size in the product drop-down menu. If you need to select OTHER, please enter in the Notes at checkout. If you know your size in UK or US sizing, simply convert it to the number or letter next to it. Wear and Care

Most silver and gold jewellery can tolerate light hand soaps without damage. However, different finishes and materials will need different types of care in order to prolong their condition.

We always recommend removing any jewellery when showering, swimming, exercising, cleaning, or doing any other activity that could damage the jewellery, and keep them away from direct sunlight or heat to prevent warping.
